Privacy policy

Your dog's location also says a lot about you, such as where you live and when you go out. We collect only what the service needs, keep it for a short time, and never sell it.

Draft for review, not yet in force. Last updated 31 October 2026.

Our legal reasons

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use a few trusted companies to run the service. They may only use the data to do this work for us:

CompanyWhat they doWhere
OVHcloudHosts our server and databaseLondon, UK
Google (Geolocation)Turns the Wi-Fi networks and phone masts the tracker hears into a rough position when GPS isn't available. Only those network details are sent, not your name or account.USA
Expo, Apple and GoogleDeliver notifications to your phoneUSA
ResendSends our emails, such as codes and family invitesUSA / EU
Apple or Google sign-inOnly if you choose to sign in with themUSA
Apple Maps or Google MapsShow the map and street names inside the appUSA
Our mobile network providerCarries the tracker's data over 4GTo be confirmed

Where data goes outside the UK, we rely on the UK's adequacy rules (including the UK–US data bridge) or the UK's standard contract clauses, so it gets the same level of protection.

Family members you invite can see your dog's position, walks and alerts until you remove them or they leave.

How long we keep it

When you delete your account in the app (Settings, Delete account), we delete your account and your dogs straight away. Positions from their trackers can no longer be seen by anyone and are deleted within 30 days. If you remove a tracker or pass it on, the next owner can never see positions from before they added it.

Keeping it safe
